I recently stayed at Porta Nova and had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff, especially Jose and Quintas, were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, even suggesting to plug in my Amazon stick so I could watch my football team on the main TV in the lounge. The location is also tremendous, with a beautiful boutique feel. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station and convenient to all points in the city. The cleanliness protocols were also top-notch, giving me a safe and comfortable environment during my stay. I will definitely be returning to Porta Nova in the future.

Great location in the heart of the old town with plenty of restaurants nearby. the view from our room was stunning and the bed was comfortable with good quality linens. the breakfast was tasty and varied, with freshly made pastries and strong coffee.

The staff were not very welcoming and seemed uninterested in providing any helpful recommendations or information about the area. the room itself was quite cramped and the bathroom was very small with a tiny shower.
